The ascorbic acid tends to reduce
melanin pigmentation. So the patients are restricted to
take the citrus foods. Non vegetarian foods are also
to be avoided as they act as a foreign body to pigment cells.
It is better to avoid even the milk and milk products.
Greens and Red Radish,
Beetroots, Carrots and Black dates may be taken. They
could change the physiology and biochemistry of the
skin with their natural pigments.
